Yard Sale Fundraiser - A Great Day!
Saturday, December 4th, 2016 was another successful yard sale to thanks to Denise Gibson and her many volunteers. This years event generated $1173 plus another $250 in cash donations. Denise has organized and run this annual event 5 years in a row. Special thanks to Libby Yarbrough for generously lending the use of her land (3rd year) and all who donated and volunteered! It's not possible to list everyone since many donated at the last minute and others who came to shop just stayed and helped. Pecks, licks and nudges from all the animals!
Silent Auction fundraiser - Thank you Jay Holt!
Designed and built by Jay Holt, this wonderful 1:13 scale minature barn was offered as a silent auction item thru our snail mail. We were grateful for Olive Bradleys winning bid of $500! Bids were accepted from October 25 - December 3, 2016. Wow! We've seen your designs benefit many charities around town (Putnam County, FL) and were impressed to have you share your talents with us. Thank you to all who participated.
Coon cat "Bellamy" / Joe Stewart replacing wood / 3 legged "Charlie" cat
Our Cattery was Yowling for Help!
...and along came Joe Stewart to save the day! Joe worked hard for weeks replacing rotten wood, shoring up walls and replacing bad floor boards. Afterwards he reorganized the shed and even adopted 2 cats... Frankie and Johnnie. We love you Joe - thank you so much! Next we plan to contact Hamby Roofing who have offered to replace the cattery roof.

Patrons Tour of the Farm
Every year in March we send private invitations to Patrons and friends to a 3 hour visit at the Sanctuary. Our dedicated volunteers (Denise Gibson, Nina and Lance Gibson, Vicki Miles and Phyllis Ellidge) were there to greet the visitors and run the door prize drawings. The weather was great for guests to tour the farm and take advantage of a great photo-op. Others just relaxed with complementary refreshments and snacks. It was fun to share stories of old and new animal residents with old and new friends!
